Have been here a few times usually for pizza, but have tried some pasta dishes and appetizers too. Pizza is really good, thinner crust, good sauce ratio. The buffalo chicken pizza is delicious, I never order buffalo chicken pizza and here we get it every time. The service has always been great. Last two times we went we've had the same server who is awesome, and even brought out some pizza dough for my 4yo to play with which it's always helpful to keep kids occupied until food comes. Highly recommend this place, we are from out of town but visit family locally and it's always my son's first pick to come here (and the adults are happy with always coming).
The food was spectacular!!! Every dish we tried was exceptional.
Fresh bread service. The side salad ($3 with entree) was fresh, and dressed up in the Italian style with black olives and a hot Pepperoncini pepper.
The chicken Parmesan came with a plate of garlic bread. While it was not very garlicky - more like herb bread - it still was incredibly tasty.
I had the shrimp fra diavolo and absolutely loved it. Nice large shrimp. I guess some could say that there could have been a few more of them, but enough for me. Enough for a second meal with the leftovers.
Both desserts we tried were equally amazing. First was the brownie sundae. A large, fresh, homestyle Brownie with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. Yummm. Definitely get one to share! Second was the zeppole. A kind of fried dough balls covered in powdered sugar. Another AAA+ dessert.
The service was not up to the level of the food, however. A bit slow. Our server might have been covering a number of tables in 2 dining areas, and we were in the one she frequented less. We finished the first dessert before the second got delivered to the table.
The food was mediocre at best.
But my reason for writing this review is this;
The whole time i was there (thankfully only for a take out order) on 12-28-23 there were 2 girls in front talking very rudely and insultingly about one of their coworkers in the back. They were calling him names (like fat) and using profanity.
Imagine trying to work in an environment with nasty people like that?! And when i was leaving i mentioned something to one of the girls about how the customers could hear them insulting their coworker the one girl giggled about it.
I for one will not be going back to this restaurant. And management DEFINITELY needs to rethink who they hire out front. Do you really want that as the face of your business?
My heart goes out to the boy was working in back. Nobody deserves to be treated like that by 2 rude girls.
A lovely group of hard-working individuals. The food is always hot and delicious. I am certainly going to keep coming back. PS...must have the balsamic chicken salad. ..SO GOOD!!!
Delicious shrimp scampi with penne noodles. Much more than we could eat. Fast pleasant service. Very noisy birthday party happening in our area. Would have liked the bread warmed.
Food is basic, like everywhere now it's too expensive to justify. Pizza is fair, the salads are great, would definitely avoid the pasta though.
We have eaten at this location for many years in dining and takeout. We enjoy their pizzas. We like many of their true Italian dishes, chicken parm, tortellini Alfredo, spaghetti, and meatballs, to name just a few. Great Cannolis and other desserts and always good friendly service.
